Sorrento

Linens, crocheted lace, coral jewelry and cameos are favorite buys. But by far the most coveted items are inlaid furniture and similar artistic accessories. The main shopping areas are found along Corso Italia and Via Francesco. Many shops observe a long lunch hour.

Food

The Campania region is known for its pasta specialties, served here frequently with shellfish. Fresh seafood and pizza are also good choices. Tomatoes grown in this area rival the world’s best. Don't forget to try the region's famous lemon liqueur, limoncello.
