My Journey Begins
Today is the day I set off on a 12 day trip to Europe. So excited! It's been a bit crazy this week. Watching the goings on of this Volcanic ash over Europe. The airports are open one day and closed the next. We are changing planes in Iceland on our way to Norway! Woke up this morning to the news that the airport is OPEN! YEAH! So hopefully the winds do not change between now and 8pm tonight. I'm flying from Ft Lauderdale to JFK to get my overnight flight. Keep good thoughts for me.
The good news is that we flew in a day before our cruise in case of flight issues. I tell all my clients when traveling to Europe you should always go at least one day before. That way you get to see a little bit of the city you are cruising from. If you fly in the day of the cruise you won't see anything of Rome or Barcelona etc. Plus if your flight is delayed you won't miss the ship!!
